Woodward 5412-033 is a microprocessor-based digital governor module, dedicated to speed regulation and load sharing control for diesel engines, gas engines and small prime mover sets. This module receives speed pulse signals from magnetic pickups, analog setpoint signals and discrete interlock contact signals from field switches, and outputs drive signals to the fuel actuator to adjust fuel supply, so as to stabilize engine rotating speed and active power output. It has built-in load sharing algorithm, which can realize balanced power distribution among multiple parallel generator sets and avoid load deviation caused by inconsistent response characteristics of different units. It is equipped with rich configurable I/O channels, including discrete inputs, discrete outputs, analog inputs and analog outputs, which can connect lubricating oil pressure switches, temperature switches, vibration monitoring instruments and trip interlock relays.
