Honeywell 5403-616 is an analog input module belonging to the 5403 series rack I/O family, matched with 5403-535 relay output module and 5403-536 digital input module for analog signal collection. It is designed to receive standard 4-20mA current signals from field transmitters, including pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, level transmitters and temperature transmitters, converting analog current signals into digital data that the controller can recognize and process. Each input channel adopts isolated circuit design, which can suppress common-mode interference and block surge signals transmitted from field cables, preventing high voltage impact and ground potential difference from damaging the control backplane circuit. The module carries high-precision signal sampling circuit, which can realize stable signal conversion and guarantee the linearity and accuracy of process variables. Collected process data can be displayed in real time on the operator station, stored in historical database, set with alarm limits and participate in PID closed-loop regulation logic.
