The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/94 VGA display module is a full-height rack-mounted display interface card for the Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It connects to the rack internal backplane bus and collects real-time measurement values, channel alarm states, module health status and historical event logs from all monitor cards installed in the rack. This module is matched with an external VGA color touchscreen display, which can be installed up to 10 meters away from the rack with dedicated signal cables, convenient for installation in control rooms or on-site equipment sides. Operators can view all monitoring data directly on the touch screen without connecting to a PC with rack configuration software. The system supports up to nine custom display pages, users can freely arrange different monitoring parameters on each page, such as vibration, shaft position, bearing temperature and rotational speed, and it also provides the classic API 670 standard rack overview page to quickly check the status of every channel in the rack. The display can show real-time bar graphs, numerical values, active alarm information and timestamped alarm event history, helping field operators to quickly identify equipment abnormal conditions. One single 3500/94 display module can support monitoring data from up to four separate 3500 racks, which can save hardware investment for multi-unit monitoring projects. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status and backplane communication activity clearly for routine inspection. The module supports hot swapping during normal rack operation, replacement operation will not affect the machinery protection safety logic of the whole TSI system. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function automatically detects communication cable faults and internal hardware abnormalities, and uploads fault signals to the rack system in real time. Hazardous area certified versions are available for explosive industrial sites. It is widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, providing intuitive local touch screen display and alarm browsing for critical rotating machinery online monitoring and protection.
