The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/53M M-series electronic overspeed detection module is the high-performance safety protection card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It adopts split design of front card plus rear terminal base, can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. This module receives pulse signals from proximity probes or magnetic speed pickups, supports -24Vdc transducer excitation for eddy current probes. It is a single-channel overspeed monitoring module, multiple modules can be combined to form 2oo2 or 2oo3 voting safety logic, fully complying with API 670 and API 612 overspeed protection standards. The trip response latency is less than 10ms, with fast hardware trip output. Engineers configure overspeed trip threshold via 3500 rack configuration software. Once shaft speed exceeds the preset value, the module outputs hardware trip signal immediately to trigger emergency shutdown of turbine or compressor. It cooperates with 3500/22M TDI module to upload speed waveform data to System 1 fault diagnosis software. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status, bypass state and alarm state for on-site inspection. Built-in self-diagnosis function can detect probe open circuit, short circuit and signal loss faults. It supports hot swapping during normal rack operation, maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery protection standard, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, used for high-reliability overspeed safety protection monitoring of rotating machinery.
