The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/53-03-03-00 three-channel electronic overspeed detection module is the safety protection card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. The suffix -03 stands for 3-channel input, -03 represents TMR 2oo3 voting logic, -00 means no hazardous area certifications. This module can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. It receives pulse signals from proximity probes or magnetic speed pickups, and provides -24Vdc transducer excitation for proximity probes. Three independent speed channels adopt 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which meets API 670 and API 612 overspeed protection requirements. Engineers set overspeed trip threshold via 3500 rack configuration software.
