The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/42M 176449-02 four-channel Proximitor seismic monitor module is the M-series high-performance monitoring card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. This module supports multiple sensor types including proximity probes, velomitor velocity transducers and accelerometers, and provides -24Vdc excitation for eddy current probes. Channels are configured in pairs via 3500 rack configuration software, supporting radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, REBAM bearing vibration, velocity, acceleration and absolute shaft vibration measurement. Each channel can be set with independent Alert and Danger alarm thresholds. When measurement value exceeds the setpoint, the module sends alarm signals to rack relay modules for machinery alarm and shutdown interlock. It outputs 4-20mA analog signals to DCS system for steady-state data transmission, and cooperates with 3500/23E TDI module to upload high-speed transient waveform data to System 1 fault diagnosis software. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status, bypass state and each channel alarm state for on-site inspection. Built-in self-diagnosis can detect probe open circuit, short circuit and missing signal faults. It supports hot swapping during rack operation, maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery monitoring standard, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, used for rotating machinery multi-parameter vibration and position protection monitoring.
