The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/22M 288055-01 transient data interface module(TDI) is a full-height communication card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. It must be installed in slot 1 next to the rack power supply, and each rack needs one TDI module. This module integrates the functions of the old 3500/20 RIM rack interface and TDXnet communication processor, specially designed to match M-series monitor cards such as 3500/40M and 3500/42M. It collects real-time steady-state measurement data, channel alarm status, module health signals and high-speed transient waveform data from all monitor cards on the backplane bus. It supports Bently proprietary protocol and 10/100Base-TX auto-adaptive Ethernet, also equipped with front USB port for local configuration and project export. Engineers can complete rack offline parameter editing, online configuration download, real-time data viewing and timestamped alarm event reading via this module. It supports multi-rack centralized monitoring and seamless connection with System 1 fault diagnosis software to realize rotating machinery waveform analysis. Static data capture is standard, high-resolution dynamic transient waveform capture requires optional channel license. The TDI is not part of the safety trip path; module failure will not affect vibration, temperature and relay protection logic of the rack. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status and TX/RX communication status for daily inspection. It supports hot swapping during rack running, maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery monitoring standard, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, used for rack system configuration, real-time monitoring and transient vibration data acquisition.
