Product Details:
ATLAS COPCO TC52 is the core series of single-channel servo tightening drives built for the PowerMACS assembly platform, covering multiple sub-models including TC52P high power version and TC52S compact version. Different suffix letters define communication types and configurations, including N for base unit without built-in bus, I for PROFINET, P for Profibus, M for Modbus and TT for ToolsTalk dedicated variant. This series is developed to drive Atlas Copco low and medium torque servo electric nutrunners and delivers closed-loop control of torque, angle and rotation speed for automated precision bolt fastening. Operators can configure tightening sequences, set parameters and retrieve historical fastening records through Atlas Copco ToolsTalk configuration software. Every tightening cycle will be stored locally, supporting full traceability for quality audit, process analysis and production record keeping. All units adopt cabinet mounting structure; TC52P provides higher continuous power for heavier fastening loads while TC52S features smaller footprint for space limited control cabinets. The whole series integrates comprehensive hardware protection circuits for over current, over voltage, short circuit and over temperature, protecting both drive and matched tightening tool during long cyclic production. Isolated digital I/O terminals are reserved for tool trigger, ready status and fault handshake signals. It is widely deployed in automotive component workshops, electronic assembly lines and general machinery manufacturing stations that require flexible bus selection and reliable repeated fastening performance.
