ABB CI546 3BSE012545R1 is an AF100 fieldbus communication interface module for ABB Advant MasterPiece control systems. The AF100 fieldbus communication interface module is used to connect the Advant controller with remote I/O racks via AF100 fieldbus, transferring process data, control commands and equipment status signals in both directions. This ABB CI546 module supports AF100 fieldbus protocol, and can expand the system input and output capacity by connecting multiple remote I/O modules. The Advant Controller AF100 interface unit adopts galvanic isolation design to block electromagnetic interference and surge signals from field side, protecting the main controller hardware. It has built-in self-diagnostic function and LED status indicators to monitor bus communication quality and module operating status in real time, and output fault alarm information for rapid maintenance.
