Product Details:
TRICONEX PI3381 is a high-performance TMR pulse input module developed for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives pulse signals from field flow meters, speed sensors and rotary encoders, measuring pulse frequency and cumulative count values, and converting collected pulse signals into digital data and transmitting data to the safety controller for safety interlock logic calculation. The module adopts triple modular redundant 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which can maintain stable pulse signal measurement when one internal redundant channel fails and eliminate single point failure risk. It supports connection with magnetic sensors, active sensors and open-collector type sensors, equipped with 6 isolated input channels, and can be configured for differential or single-ended signal acquisition to adapt to complex industrial field environments. Built-in continuous channel self-diagnosis functions can detect open circuit, short circuit and signal overrange faults, uploading fault alarm information to the safety controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty unit online without shutting down the whole safety system, minimizing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, pulse termination board and matched shielded cable assemblies. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX PI3381 pulse input module undertakes high-precision flow and rotating speed signal acquisition work for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
