SIEMENS QLIDM115ACBBN is an IDM discrete input module designed for QUADLOG and APACS+ DCS rack systems, built to detect 115VAC on-off status signals coming from field limit switches, relay contacts, motor auxiliary contacts and other AC discrete field devices. It converts the AC switching state into digital signals and transmits the acquired status data to the rack main control module for interlock logic judgment, sequence control calculation and alarm triggering. The module adopts industrial multi-layer reinforced PCB and full EMC shielding layout, equipped with surge suppression, signal filtering and channel isolation circuits, which can effectively suppress electromagnetic noise and transient voltage spikes introduced from field wiring, and reduce ground loop disturbance and signal crosstalk between adjacent channels inside dense control cabinets.

It adopts standard backplane plug-in installation structure and supports quick removal and replacement during routine overhaul and loop fault troubleshooting, helping maintenance technicians shorten the recovery time of safety interlock loops. The module integrates independent channel diagnostic function, capable of detecting open circuit, over-range signal and abnormal channel state, and uploading fault alarm information to the APACS+ monitoring host for fast fault location. Users can configure channel action mode and alarm threshold parameters via APACS+ engineering software to match different interlock and status monitoring requirements. Every spare module will complete full channel switching detection test, backplane bus communication test and rack compatibility verification before shipment to ensure stable coordination with original QUADLOG hardware.
