SIEMENS 39RTMCAN is an RTM resistance temperature module for QUADLOG and APACS+ DCS rack systems, dedicated to receiving signals from RTD sensors such as Pt100, Pt1000 and Ni100 for precise industrial temperature measurement. It converts the resistance change detected by the temperature sensor into digital values, transmits the temperature reading to the main control module for closed-loop control, over-temperature alarm and process monitoring. The module supports multiple RTD types and configurable measuring ranges, and integrates built-in cold junction compensation to guarantee high measurement accuracy. It adopts industrial reinforced multi-layer PCB and full EMC shielding design, equipped with surge suppression and signal isolation circuits, which can effectively filter electromagnetic noise and ground loop interference inside the control cabinet to keep stable temperature acquisition under long-term vibration.

It uses standard backplane plug-in installation structure and supports quick removal and replacement during routine maintenance and loop fault troubleshooting, helping maintenance technicians shorten the recovery time of temperature measurement loops. The module supports channel setup, sensor type selection and range configuration through APACS+ engineering software. It carries complete self-diagnosis function to detect wire break, short circuit and abnormal signal state, and uploads fault alarm information to the DCS host station for fast fault location.
