The 62VA belongs to the Moore Nullmatic 62 series compact pneumatic controller under Siemens, a panel-mounted pneumatic proportional plus reset regulator. It receives 3-15psi pneumatic input signals from field transmitters and outputs 3-15psi air signals to drive pneumatic control valves, realizing closed-loop adjustment for pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level loops. It adopts bellows sensing structure, featuring high sensitivity and stable proportional and integral control action.

It has adjustable proportional band and reset time settings via external adjustment knobs. The suffix VA defines its spring range and mounting style. It is a pure mechanical pneumatic instrument without electronic circuit board, independent operation without DCS rack or power supply. It cannot be directly replaced by 55AX series pipe-mounted pneumatic controllers or 62 other suffix variants with different action types.

The rugged die-cast aluminum housing is resistant to vibration and corrosion, suitable for explosive hazardous areas without intrinsic safety certification concerns. The built-in air passage is precision machined to reduce air leakage. Operators read set point, process variable and output signal from the front mechanical dial and air gauge.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested instruments removed from retired pneumatic control skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm supply air pressure, proportional band range and reset parameter configuration according to field process requirements.

Industry Applications: Applied in oil refinery old pneumatic control rooms, natural gas wellhead skids, chemical general process loops and water treatment pneumatic regulating systems for pneumatic signal closed-loop control.
