 The 39ODM115ACNAN is a discrete output module of Moore ACMx series under Siemens APACS+ DCS platform, designed to switch on-site binary actuators according to control commands sent from the main rack controller. It receives logic instructions through the high-speed system backplane bus and converts internal control signals into field-level dry contact or transistor output signals for solenoid valves, motor starters and indicator lights. This module adopts channel isolation design to prevent field-side surge interference from spreading back into the control rack and damaging the main processor.

 It is installed in standard ACMx rack slots and communicates with ACMx or CCMx controllers. Each output channel can be forced manually via APACS+ configuration software for commissioning and loop testing. Built-in channel diagnostic functions can detect open circuit and short circuit faults on field wiring, and push fault alarms to the HMI. It belongs to the ODM discrete output series, which cannot be substituted by IDM discrete input modules or analog I/O cards. The suffix ACNAN defines its channel quantity, output type and hardware configuration.

 The PCB board is coated with conformal coating, providing reliable protection against dust, moisture and light corrosive vapors in chemical plant and refinery control rooms. The front LED array displays channel on/off status, bus communication state and module fault warning, which is convenient for on-site inspection. Hot swap function is supported under certain rack operation modes, but operators need to evaluate the running process before hot replacement.

 Most stocked units are surplus modules recovered from decommissioned APACS+ racks and fully tested. Before installation, technicians need to match the backplane version and confirm the output type defined by the suffix, as mismatched output specifications will cause damage to field actuators.
