 The 39EAMNAN is an enhanced analog module of Moore ACMx series under Siemens APACS+ DCS platform, designed to handle multi-channel analog signal input and output for process instruments. Compared with standard analog I/O cards, this EAM series module has higher sampling precision and richer channel configuration options, supporting 4-20mA analog signals from pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters as well as analog output signals to control valves and positioners. Each channel is equipped with isolation protection to filter interference generated by frequency converters and high-power motors on site.

 It is inserted into the standard ACMx rack slot and exchanges data with the host controller through the high-speed backplane bus. The module integrates comprehensive channel self-diagnosis logic, which can automatically detect open circuit, short circuit and signal over-range faults of field instrument loops, and push fault information to the HMI for rapid troubleshooting. The suffix NAN defines its channel quantity, signal type and hardware option setting, and it cannot be directly replaced by ordinary SAM analog modules.

 The PCB is treated with conformal coating to adapt to the humid and lightly corrosive environment in chemical and refinery control rooms. The indicator lights on the front panel can display bus communication status, individual channel working state and module fault alarms clearly for engineers to check on site. It supports hot swap under specific rack operating modes, but relevant process risk assessment is required before online replacement.

 Most of the stocked units are surplus modules removed from decommissioned APACS+ control racks and fully tested. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the channel definition corresponding to the suffix code and complete signal calibration with a signal source to guarantee measurement accuracy.

Industry Applications: Applied in petrochemical production units, natural gas metering skids, boiler control systems and sewage treatment facilities for high-precision analog signal collection and regulating valve output control.
