The 39EAMCAN is the EAM enhanced analog module of Moore ACMx series under Siemens APACS+ DCS platform. It features multi-configurable channels, each channel can be set as 4-20mA analog input for pressure, flow, temperature and level transmitters, or analog output for driving control valves. Compared with SAM standard analog modules, this EAM version has higher conversion precision, richer channel self-test functions and stronger anti-interference performance, suitable for loops requiring high measurement stability.

It is installed in standard ACMx rack slots and communicates with ACMx host controllers through high-speed backplane IOBUS. Continuous channel diagnostics can monitor loop integrity, signal over-range and hardware anomalies automatically, and upload fault information to upper HMI system for quick troubleshooting. The suffix NAN defines its channel layout, isolation specification and hardware revision. It cannot be interchanged directly with 39EAMCBN variants, and it is only applicable for APACS+ ACMx racks, not for QUADLOG safety racks.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. The front panel LED indicators display bus communication status, channel activity and module fault alarm for convenient on-site inspection. Hot swap can be performed under specific rack operation modes, but process risk assessment must be completed before online replacement.

Most stocked units are surplus modules recovered from decommissioned APACS control racks and fully tested. Before installation, technicians need to confirm channel configuration and calibrate signal scaling to match field instrument specifications.

Industry Applications: Applied in petrochemical auxiliary skids, gas flow metering systems, boiler closed-loop control rooms and water treatment facilities for high-precision analog signal acquisition and valve regulating output.
