The 39ACM14NAN is a standard ACM advanced control processor of Moore ACMx series under Siemens APACS+ DCS platform, operating at 24VDC with maximum current consumption of 0.4A. It is equipped with 2MB onboard memory, designed for medium complexity process control tasks including PID loop adjustment, cascade control, ratio control and sequential logic. It supports redundant pairing configuration to achieve bumpless transfer between primary and backup controllers, preventing unexpected process trips when the main unit fails.

It is installed in standard ACMx rack slots and communicates with all ACMx I/O modules through high-speed backplane bus. Built-in diagnostic functions continuously monitor bus synchronization status, memory integrity, program execution state and redundant partner working condition. Fault signals will trigger front panel alarm indicators and send alarm messages to the HMI system for rapid troubleshooting. The suffix NAN defines its hardware version and functional options, and it cannot be interchanged directly with 39ACM12NAN and 39ACM28ADN series controllers. It works only inside ACMx racks and is incompatible with QUADLOG CCMx safety racks.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. The front panel LED indicators clearly display running mode, redundant sync status and fault codes for convenient on-site inspection. Hot swap can be performed under specific rack operation modes, but process risk assessment must be completed before online replacement.

Most stocked units are surplus modules recovered from decommissioned APACS+ control racks and fully tested. Before installation, technicians need to match the rack firmware version and complete offline redundant switchover test. Mismatched firmware will lead to redundant synchronization failure.

Industry Applications: Applied in petrochemical auxiliary skids, gas metering control systems, boiler auxiliary control rooms and water treatment facilities for medium-complexity closed-loop regulation and interlock logic processing.
