The 353D2F1LNNNNNA is a Moore 353 series single-loop PID controller under Siemens, the D suffix means this unit adopts 24VDC power supply, different from the AC powered A version. It is a 1/4 DIN panel-mounted standalone regulator, equipped with front display and keypad for local operation, operators can adjust setpoints, switch auto/manual mode and check alarm status directly without an engineering workstation. The L in the suffix stands for its built-in communication option, supporting remote data interaction with HMI or SCADA systems besides local PID regulation.

It supports multiple PID control algorithms including auto-tune function, and can handle cascade and ratio control strategies for complex process loops. It accepts common 4-20mA, thermocouple and RTD sensor signals, users can define the input range via the local menu. The suffix string NNNNNNA defines no extra optional hardware installed. It cannot be replaced directly by 353A series AC-powered controllers, as the internal power circuit structure is completely different.

The internal PCB is protected by conformal coating to resist condensation and light chemical vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. The front panel status LEDs display process value, alarm trigger state and communication activity for quick on-site inspection. It runs independently without requiring control rack or backplane bus.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested units removed from retired process skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm 24VDC power supply and verify the communication function defined by the suffix code. Wrong power input will cause permanent damage to the controller.
