The 353A2FNNNNNNNA is a Moore 353 series single-loop PID controller under Siemens, a 1/4 DIN standalone panel-mounted regulator powered by AC mains supply. It is designed for local closed-loop adjustment of pressure, temperature, flow and liquid level loops. This base suffix configuration NNNNNNNA means no extra optional communication or special hardware installed, it only supports local PID control and limit alarm functions. It is equipped with front digital display and operation keypad, allowing field operators to modify setpoints, switch auto/manual control mode and check alarm status on site.

It supports auto-tune PID function, and can be configured for direct or reverse action control strategy. It accepts standard 4-20mA, thermocouple and RTD sensor signals, and signal scaling and engineering units can be set via front keypad. The complete suffix NNNNNNNA defines its input type, alarm relay option and hardware revision. It cannot be replaced directly by 353 models with communication option suffixes, and it works independently without rack or backplane bus.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. The front panel LEDs display real-time process value, alarm trigger state and power status for convenient on-site inspection.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested units removed from retired process skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the input signal type and adjust the alarm threshold parameters to match the field instrument range.
