The 320A2NNF belongs to the Moore 320 series digital process indicator under Siemens, a standalone 1/4 DIN panel-mounted display instrument for local reading of analog process signals. It receives standard 4-20mA, thermocouple or RTD signals from field transmitters and converts the input signal into clear digital value readout for operators on site. Unlike PID controllers, this unit only focuses on measurement display and alarm indication, and it has no automatic closed-loop control output function.

It supports configurable engineering unit scaling and high/low value alarm setting through its front keypad. The suffix NNF defines its hardware configuration including input signal type and alarm relay option. The internal circuit has built-in wire break detection, which can trigger alarm prompt when the field instrument cable is broken. It runs on AC power supply and works independently without rack, backplane or host controller. It cannot be replaced by other 320 series indicators with different suffix codes.

The PCB board is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and mild chemical vapors in ordinary industrial control rooms. The front panel digital display and status LEDs show process value, alarm status and power state for convenient on-site checking. The transparent protective cover prevents dust and accidental touch to the operation keys.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested units removed from retired process monitoring skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the signal type defined by the suffix and complete range scaling matching the connected transmitter.
