SIEMENS 173S-M44 is a 173S series pneumatic pressure transmitter originally manufactured by Moore, designed for measuring process pressure and converting sensed pressure value into standard proportional pneumatic output signal for pneumatic control loops. It adopts stable bellows sensing assembly and classic flapper-nozzle amplification mechanism, which can detect process pressure changes precisely and deliver linear pneumatic feedback signal to downstream controllers, recorders or valve positioners. The sensing unit is encapsulated inside a rugged stainless steel housing with corrosion-resistant surface treatment, suitable for installation on site skids, pipelines and instrument manifolds exposed to moisture, dust and continuous mechanical vibration. It supports high pressure measurement range and contains built-in over-range protection structure to avoid internal sensing element damage caused by sudden pressure surge from process pipelines.

It is equipped with external zero and span adjustment screws for convenient on-site calibration to match the required measuring range, and maintains excellent long-term stability with low hysteresis and minimal drift under continuous cyclic pressure fluctuation. The transmitter follows standard pneumatic connection interface for easy integration into existing instrument air piping. It does not require power supply and works purely on instrument air supply, which makes it highly reliable for explosion-risk areas and sites without available electrical power. Every spare unit will pass pressure leak test, output linearity calibration and stability inspection before shipment to ensure consistent measuring performance and good compatibility with legacy Moore pneumatic control equipment.
