The 16167-1-09 is an SDM marshalled termination panel of Moore APACS+ series under Siemens, designed for binary discrete I/O signal wiring between SDM digital modules and field switches, auxiliary relays and solenoid valves. It concentrates all signal terminals in one panel, providing convenient access for wiring inspection, signal testing and maintenance. It does not contain logic chips or signal conversion circuits, it only serves as a reliable wiring transfer medium for digital loops.

It matches SDM series discrete I/O modules, compatible with both ACMx and QUADLOG rack systems. Each terminal is clearly printed with channel number marking. Built-in isolation structure reduces electrical interference between adjacent binary channels. The suffix 1-09 defines its pin assignment, terminal type and hardware revision. It cannot be mixed with analog termination panels for 4-20mA instrument loops.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. Screw-type terminals can firmly clamp copper wires, and reserved test points support loop signal injection and continuity check during site commissioning. It has no indicator lights and cannot work independently without matched SDM modules.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested panels recovered from decommissioned APACS control skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the matched SDM module model and channel mapping. Wrong channel pairing will lead to misoperation of field binary equipment.

Industry Applications: Applied in petrochemical safety interlock skids, gas compression control rooms, boiler auxiliary systems and water treatment facilities for centralized wiring transition of digital discrete signals.
