The 16114-182 is the PSM rack power supply assembly originally developed by Moore under Siemens APACS+ DCS platform, matched with 39PSR series power core module. It accepts wide-range AC grid input and converts it into stable 24VDC regulated output, supplying power for ACMx rack controllers and I/O modules. It is commonly used as the complete power assembly with housing, wiring terminals and protection circuit base, different from standalone bare power card variants.

This power assembly integrates overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit and overtemperature protection circuits. It will cut off output automatically under abnormal load conditions to avoid cascading damage to all modules on the backplane bus. The suffix defines its output rating, input voltage specification and hardware revision, and it cannot be replaced directly by 16114-180 and 16114-201 power assemblies with different power parameters. It can be configured for redundant parallel operation in critical process control racks.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. The front panel LED indicators display power input status, normal output state and fault alarm for convenient on-site inspection. It occupies one standard ACMx rack slot and supports hot swap under specific rack operation modes, but process risk assessment must be completed before online replacement.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested assemblies recovered from decommissioned APACS control racks. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the AC input voltage and rated output current. Redundant parallel application requires matching identical model and revision code.
