The 15738-120 is a Moore mounting case with 20 screw terminals under Siemens APACS+ system, used as the mechanical and wiring carrier for matching single-loop instruments and small I/O modules. It provides centralized terminal points for field instrument cables, organizing signal wiring neatly for commissioning, inspection and maintenance. It does not undertake signal conversion, control operation or data processing functions, and it only serves as a stable wiring transition structure.

This unit is equipped with 20 terminal positions, clearly marked with channel numbers for corresponding signal mapping. The terminal structure adopts reliable clamping design to prevent loose wiring caused by equipment vibration. It supports connection of 4-20mA analog signals and binary switch signals according to matched instruments. It cannot be interchanged directly with 15738-119 40-terminal mounting cases, and it is only compatible with matched Moore 353 series controllers and small instrument modules.

The metal housing provides mechanical support and certain electromagnetic shielding performance. The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. There are no logic chips, power circuits or status indicator lights on this mounting case itself.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested housings recovered from decommissioned process skids. Before installation, technicians need to confirm the matched instrument model and channel mapping definition. Wrong wiring pairing will lead to signal mismatch of field sensors.

Industry Applications: Applied in furnace local instrument panels, pipeline monitoring skids, small chemical auxiliary control units and water treatment local display cabinets for centralized wiring transition of instrument signals.
