The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/42-09-00 four-channel Proximitor seismic monitor module is a full-height plug-in card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. The suffix -09 represents internal termination I/O type,support Prox,Velomitor,Accel and HTVS sensors, -00 indicates no special agency certification for ordinary control room environments. This module can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. It accepts input signals from proximity probes,velomitor velocity transducers and accelerometers. It provides -24Vdc transducer excitation for proximity probes. Four independent channels can be configured in pairs via 3500 rack configuration software to measure radial vibration,thrust position,differential expansion,eccentricity,velocity and acceleration. Each channel is equipped with 4-20mA analog recorder output to connect to DCS system. Engineers can set Alert and Danger alarm thresholds for each channel. When the measured value exceeds the preset threshold,the module sends alarm signals to rack relay modules to trigger machinery alarm or shutdown interlock. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status,bypass state and each channel alarm state for on-site inspection. Built-in self-diagnosis function can detect probe open circuit,short circuit and signal loss faults. The module supports hot swapping during normal rack operation,maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery monitoring standard,widely applied in petrochemical,power generation and metallurgy industries,matched with steam turbines,gas turbines and centrifugal compressors,for multi-sensor type vibration and displacement protection monitoring.
