ABB CI855 is a communication interface module for ABB AC800M and System 800xA DCS distributed control systems. The MasterBus300 communication interface module adopts dual Ethernet ports design to support redundant network transmission, and realizes high-speed data communication between AC800M controller, Advant Controller 450 and MasterPiece 200 controllers. This ABB CI855 module uses MasterBus300 protocol with 10Mbit/s transmission speed, which can complete inter-controller data exchange and interlock signal transmission. The AC800M DCS communication board has built-in self-diagnostic function and LED status indicators, which can monitor communication link and hardware running status in real time, and quickly feed back fault alarm information for troubleshooting. It supports hot swap function, users can replace the module without shutting down the whole DCS system to reduce production downtime. The galvanic isolation design can effectively suppress electromagnetic interference in power plant, chemical and pulp & paper industrial environments. Widely applied in power, metallurgy, chemical, water treatment and paper making industries, it is key spare part for DCS system maintenance and upgrade.
