ABB CI810V1 3BSE008584R1 is an AF100 fieldbus communication module for ABB AC800M and System 800xA DCS distributed control systems. The AF100 fieldbus communication module is used to connect AC800M controller and S800 remote I/O stations, realizing bidirectional transmission of process data, control commands and equipment status signals over AF100 fieldbus. This ABB CI810V1 module supports AF100 fieldbus protocol, and can expand the system I/O capacity by connecting multiple S800 I/O modules. The AC800M DCS interface unit adopts galvanic isolation design to block surge and electromagnetic interference from field side and improve the stability of the whole control system. It has built-in self-diagnostic function and LED status indicators to monitor bus communication quality and hardware operating status, and output fault alarm information once communication interruption or hardware failure occurs. It supports hot swap function, operators can replace the module without shutting down the DCS system to reduce production downtime.
