The 16133-79/10 is the SAM standard analog combined input and output module of Moore APACS+ series under Siemens, corresponding part code 39SAMxxx variants. It supports 4-20mA analog input signals from pressure, flow, temperature and level transmitters, and analog output signals for driving pneumatic and electric regulating valves. Each channel adopts electrical isolation design to restrain interference from on-site frequency converters and motors, protecting rack backplane bus stability.

It fits into standard ACMx rack slots and communicates with ACM or CCM host controllers through high-speed backplane bus. Built-in channel diagnosis can continuously detect loop open circuit, short circuit and signal out-of-range faults, and push fault alarm information to the HMI system for fast troubleshooting. The suffix 79/10 defines its channel quantity, isolation specification and hardware revision. It cannot be directly replaced by SAI input-only modules or EAM enhanced analog modules. It is only applicable for ACMx racks and not compatible with QUADLOG safety racks.

The internal PCB is coated with conformal coating to resist dust, condensation and light corrosive vapors in refinery and chemical control rooms. Front panel LED indicators display bus communication status, channel active state and module fault warning for convenient on-site inspection. Hot swap can be performed under specific rack operation modes, but process risk assessment must be completed before online replacement.

Most stocked units are surplus and fully tested modules recovered from decommissioned APACS control racks. Before installation, technicians need to complete signal scaling calibration and confirm the 4-20mA loop wiring definition.

Industry Applications: Applied in petrochemical auxiliary skids, gas flow control systems, boiler closed-loop control rooms and water treatment facilities for conventional analog signal acquisition and valve regulating output.
