MODICON 120-082-007 belongs to the CGX41 brushless servo motor family of legacy AEG Modicon motion control system. It is designed for high precision closed-loop positioning, indexing and synchronous axis control on automated machinery, packaging lines and transfer equipment. This permanent magnet servo motor integrates built-in incremental encoder to feed real-time shaft speed and angular position back to the matched Modicon servo amplifier, forming a complete closed servo loop for accurate speed and position regulation. It adopts heavy-duty cast housing, sealed bearing assembly and standard flange mounting structure, supporting long time continuous cyclic operation under workshop conditions. The internal winding thermal sensor provides reliable overtemperature protection to prevent winding burnout during overload or stall events. Dedicated power and feedback connectors ensure stable power and signal transmission even with long wiring runs. Transient suppression design reduces electromagnetic interference generated by surrounding frequency converters and contactors. As an obsolete original electromechanical spare part, it is used for maintenance and retrofit of aging Modicon motion automation lines.
