MODICON 206/AS-BADU-20, also known as AEG Modicon AS-BADU-20, is a professional analog input processor belonging to the Modicon 800 I/O series, serving as a stable sensor interface for legacy Modicon compact and 984 rack PLC systems. This analog input processor collects continuous analog signals from field transmitters and sensors, including voltage, current, RTD and thermocouple signals, and converts raw analog readings into digital data that the PLC CPU can read for process monitoring and closed-loop regulation. It features multi-channel signal acquisition with built-in channel isolation, which effectively reduces cross-talk between different signal loops and improves overall system stability.
