TRICONEX 7200 is a TMR analog output interface module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module receives safety control instructions from the Tricon main processor and converts digital control signals into standard 4-20mA analog current signals to drive field control valves, actuators and valve positioners. The Tricon analog output interface module supports 2~22mA extended range to realize transmitter and circuit fault diagnosis. It adopts high-precision signal conversion circuit and robust anti-interference design to reduce ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference from industrial field wiring. The module uses 2-out-of-3 voting mechanism for all output signals to eliminate single point of failure and guarantee the stability of safety control output. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect open circuit, short circuit, load abnormality and internal hardware faults, and upload fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and each channel output status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 7200 analog output interface module executes safety control actions for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
