TRICONEX 4351A is a TCM Tricon communication module developed for Triconex TMR safety instrumented systems (SIS), compatible with Tricon v10.0 and above systems. This TMR safety module establishes bidirectional data exchange between Tricon safety controller and external host systems, DCS, HMI and other field devices, supporting multi-protocol communication for safety critical industrial control loops. The module is equipped with 2 channels of 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports and 4 DB-9 serial ports configurable for RS-232 or RS-485, with 500VDC port isolation to suppress industrial electromagnetic interference. It adopts triple modular redundant architecture matching Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting safety system, providing outstanding fault tolerance. Built-in comprehensive self-diagnostic function can continuously monitor port status and internal hardware abnormalities, with LED status indicators for quick fault checking. The module supports hot swap operation during maintenance, users can replace faulty units without shutting down the whole safety system, effectively reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main processor, power supply units and various I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 4351A TCM communication module implements data communication for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
