TRICONEX 4119A is an EICM enhanced intelligent communication module designed for Triconex TMR safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module realizes bidirectional data exchange between the Tricon safety controller and external host systems, supporting Modbus RTU/ASCII, TriStation and printer communication protocols to meet data interaction requirements of safety control systems. The module is equipped with 4 configurable serial ports supporting RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 and 1 isolated Centronics parallel port, with 500VDC port isolation to block interference from industrial field circuits. It adopts triple modular redundant design matching Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting safety architecture, built-in comprehensive self-diagnosis function to detect hardware faults in real time. Users can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main processor, power supply and various I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 4119A communication module processes data transmission for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
