TRICONEX 3636R is a 32-channel galvanic isolated relay output module built for Triconex Tricon triple modular redundancy (TMR) safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module receives safety interlock commands from the Tricon main processor and switches dry relay contacts to drive field solenoid valves, alarm relays and trip devices. The Tricon 32-channel relay output module adopts SPDT relay form, each channel provides independent non-commoned dry contact output, supporting maximum 125V AC/DC load and 2A per channel. It has galvanic isolation between field contact side and internal logic circuit to block surge and electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial sites. The module works with Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting logic of the safety system, and supports continuous hardware self-diagnosis to detect internal circuit faults. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and each channel status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and matching termination panels. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 3636R relay output module executes safety shutdown and interlock control tasks for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
