TRICONEX 3623T is a 16-channel supervised digital output module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module receives safety interlock commands from the Tricon main processor and converts control signals into 120VDC supervised output to drive field solenoid valves, trip actuators and safety shutdown devices. The Tricon 16-channel 120VDC supervised digital output module supports 90–150V DC operating range, adopting commoned channel design and integrated loopback supervision circuits. Each channel continuously monitors load status, capable of detecting open load, short circuit and circuit degradation, providing comprehensive channel diagnostics for safety critical loops. The module adopts triple redundant signal processing circuits and 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and guarantee reliable safety output under severe industrial conditions. It integrates surge protection and isolation circuits to suppress electromagnetic noise and ground loop interference. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT, ACTIVE and each channel output status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and matching termination panels.
