The Schneider 140CPS41400 summable dc power supply module is a high-performance power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC racks with 48~60V DC power input. This modicon quantum power module converts 48~60V DC input into stable 5.1V DC backplane power for CPU, communication and I/O modules mounted on the rack backplane. This summable power supply supports parallel connection of multiple identical power modules to expand total rack power capacity, suitable for large racks equipped with many high-consumption I/O and special function modules. It can deliver up to 8A output current. A green PWR OK LED indicator and one NC 6A@220V fault alarm relay contact are fitted on the front panel. The relay outputs power failure alarm signals to external control system, while the LED allows technicians to quickly check power operating status and perform on-site fault diagnosis. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits cut off output automatically under abnormal electrical conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules. It supports direct plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and hot swap for convenient maintenance. This original product was discontinued on Dec 31,2022 and end-of-service on Dec 31,2030, widely stocked as spare parts for maintenance and renovation of legacy industrial automation systems. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical industrial control projects to provide stable backplane power supply for large Modicon Quantum racks powered by 48V DC power source.
