The Schneider 140CPS22400C conformal coated redundant dc power supply module is a high reliability power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC systems deployed in dusty, moist and corrosive industrial environments. This modicon quantum power module accepts 20~30V DC input and converts it to stable 5.1V DC backplane power to supply CPU, communication and I/O modules installed on the rack backplane. The PCB board adopts Humiseal conformal coating treatment to resist moisture, dust and corrosive gas, preventing circuit corrosion and ensuring stable operation under harsh plant conditions. This power module supports parallel load-sharing redundant operation. When two modules work together, they share the rack load evenly. If one power supply fails, the remaining unit will automatically take over full load without interrupting PLC operation, ensuring continuous production process. It can deliver up to 8A output current under redundant configuration. A green PWR OK LED indicator and one NC 6A@220V fault relay contact are equipped on the front panel. The relay outputs fault alarm signals to the control system while the LED helps technicians quickly check power status and perform on-site fault diagnosis. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits cut off output automatically under abnormal electrical conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules. It supports direct plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and hot swap for convenient maintenance. This original product has been discontinued, widely stocked as spare parts for maintenance and renovation of legacy industrial automation systems. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical projects to provide redundant stable backplane power supply for Modicon Quantum PLC control racks under corrosive environments.
