The Schneider 140CPS21400C conformal coated summable dc power supply module is a high reliability power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC automation systems working in dusty, moist and corrosive industrial environments. This modicon quantum power module accepts 20~30V DC input and converts it into stable 5.1V DC backplane power to supply CPU, communication and I/O modules installed on the rack backplane. The PCB circuit board adopts Humiseal 1A33 conformal coating treatment, which can effectively resist moisture, dust and corrosive gas, preventing circuit corrosion and improving long-term stability under harsh industrial conditions. This summable power supply supports parallel connection of multiple identical modules to expand total rack power capacity, delivering up to 8A output current. A green PWR OK LED indicator and one NC fault alarm relay contact are equipped on the front panel. The relay can output fault alarm signals to the control system when power failure occurs, and the LED helps on-site engineers quickly check module operating status and locate faults. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits automatically cut off output under abnormal electrical conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules. It supports plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and hot swap for convenient maintenance. This original product was discontinued on March 15,2022 and end-of-service on December 31,2029, widely stocked as spare parts for maintenance and renovation of legacy industrial automation systems. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical projects to provide stable backplane power supply for Modicon Quantum PLC racks with DC input under harsh environments.
