The Schneider 140CPS21100 power supply module is a standalone DC power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC racks. This modicon quantum power module accepts 20~30V DC input and converts it into stable 5.1V DC backplane power, delivering up to 3A output current to supply CPU, communication and I/O modules installed on the rack backplane. A green PWR OK LED indicator on the front panel shows real-time power status, allowing technicians to quickly check module health and locate power faults during routine site inspection. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits automatically cut off output under abnormal electrical conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules from damage. It can be directly plugged into the Quantum backplane rack and supports hot swap under specified operating conditions to reduce system downtime during maintenance. This original Schneider product was discontinued on August 8,2025, with end-of-service date on December 31,2030. It is widely stocked as spare parts for maintenance and renovation of legacy industrial automation systems. It is widely deployed in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical projects to provide stable rack backplane power supply from DC power sources.
