The Schneider 140CPS12420C conformal coated redundant ac power supply module is a high reliability power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC systems operating in harsh industrial environments. This modicon quantum power module accepts 93~276V AC input with 47~63Hz frequency and converts AC power into stable 5.1V DC backplane power for CPU, communication and I/O modules mounted on the rack. The PCB board is treated with Humiseal 1A33 conformal coating, which provides strong protection against moisture, dust and corrosive gas, preventing circuit corrosion and signal interruption in chemical, offshore and dusty plant sites. This power module supports parallel redundant load sharing. It delivers up to 11A output in standalone operation and 10A output when working in redundant parallel configuration. A green PWR OK LED and one NC fault alarm relay contact are arranged on the front panel. The relay can send fault signals to the control system when power supply fails, while the LED indicator helps technicians quickly check working status and locate faults. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits can automatically cut off output under abnormal electrical conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules. It adopts plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and supports hot swap for convenient on-site maintenance. This original module has been discontinued, widely stocked as spare parts for renovation and maintenance of legacy industrial automation systems. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical projects to provide stable redundant rack power supply under corrosive industrial conditions.
