The Schneider 140CPS12400 redundant ac power supply module is a high-reliability power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC racks, supporting redundant parallel operation. This modicon quantum power module accepts universal AC input of 93~276V AC,47~63Hz and converts it into stable 5.1V DC backplane power for CPU, communication and I/O modules. It can deliver up to 8A output current under redundant configuration. When two 140CPS12400 modules work in parallel, they share the load evenly. If one power supply fails, the remaining unit will take over the full load automatically without interrupting rack operation. A green PWR OK LED on the front panel shows real-time power status for fast on-site inspection and fault diagnosis. Built-in overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection circuits protect the expensive Quantum PLC modules from damage when abnormal current occurs. It supports direct plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and hot swap for maintenance. This original Schneider product was discontinued on Dec 31,2022 and end-of-service on Dec 31,2030, widely stocked as spare parts for legacy automation system maintenance. It is widely applied in power, petrochemical, metallurgy and chemical projects that require redundant power supply for Modicon Quantum PLC control racks.
