The Schneider 140CPS11100C conformal coated ac power supply module is a standalone power unit for Modicon Quantum PLC racks. This modicon quantum power module converts 100~276V AC input into stable 5.1V DC backplane power, providing up to 3A output current to supply CPU, communication and I/O modules mounted on the rack backplane. The PCB board is treated with conformal coating to guard circuits against moisture, dust and corrosive vapors, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments such as chemical plants and offshore automation sites. A green PWR OK LED is fitted on the front panel, enabling technicians to quickly check power status and identify power faults during routine site inspection. Built-in overvoltage and overload protection circuits cut off output automatically under abnormal current or voltage conditions to protect expensive Quantum PLC modules from damage. It supports plug-in installation on Quantum backplane and limited hot swap for maintenance. This original Schneider module has been discontinued, and it is widely stocked as spare parts for legacy automation system maintenance. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical industrial control projects to deliver stable rack power supply.
