The Schneider 140CPS11100 power supply module is a standalone AC power unit designed for Modicon Quantum PLC racks. This modicon quantum power module converts 100~276V AC input into stable 5.1V DC backplane power to supply power for CPU, communication and I/O modules installed on the rack. It delivers up to 3A output current under standalone working condition. A green PWR OK LED is equipped on the front panel to indicate normal power output status, allowing technicians to quickly check power health during routine inspection. The module integrates built-in overvoltage and overload protection circuits, which can automatically cut off output when abnormal current or voltage occurs, protecting expensive PLC modules from damage. It can be directly plugged into the Quantum backplane rack and supports hot insertion and replacement within specification limits, reducing system downtime during maintenance. This original Schneider module has been discontinued, widely stocked as spare parts for legacy automation systems. It is extensively used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, water treatment and chemical industrial control projects to provide stable rack power supply.
