The Schneider 140CHS41010 low cost hot standby kit is a complete plc redundancy accessory package designed for Modicon Quantum automation systems and equipped with 140CPU11302 CPUs. This modicon quantum hot standby kit provides an economical rack redundancy solution for small and medium industrial control systems. It includes two 140CPU11302 processors, a pair of hot standby synchronization modules, matching communication cables and installation manuals. The system can realize bumpless automatic switchover. When the primary CPU encounters faults, the standby rack will quickly take over control to maintain continuous production operation and avoid unexpected shutdown losses. The synchronization module supports real-time data exchange of control logic, I/O state and process variables between primary and standby racks. LED indicators on the module front panel clearly display running status, synchronization link and fault alarm information for convenient on-site inspection and troubleshooting. This original product was discontinued on May 31,2015. It is widely stocked as spare parts for maintenance and renovation of legacy power, petrochemical, metallurgy and water treatment automation projects.
