The Schneider 140CHS11000 hot standby redundancy module is a high-performance plc module designed for Modicon Quantum high-reliability industrial control systems. This modicon quantum module realizes CPU hot standby redundant function through fiber optic communication between primary PLC rack and backup PLC rack. When the primary CPU fails, the system can complete automatic switchover within 13~48ms, ensuring continuous operation of production equipment and avoiding unexpected shutdown losses. This hot standby redundancy module adopts 10Mbit/s fiber transmission rate, equipped with two RJ45 fiber interfaces for sending and receiving redundant data. Multiple status LED indicators are provided on the module front panel, including standby status, process control ready, communication and fault alarm lights, which help engineers quickly judge the running status of redundant system. It is compatible with 140CPU43412A,140CPU53414B and other Quantum CPU models, supporting Concept and ProWORX 32 programming software. The module can be directly inserted into the Quantum backplane rack. It is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy and chemical industries where uninterrupted control is required.
