The Schneider 140CFA04000 wiring block is a CableFast terminal block, a professional plc accessory designed for Modicon Quantum I/O modules. This modicon quantum wiring block creates a straight-through point-to-point connection between field sensors, actuators and Quantum I/O modules. It adopts a 50-pin female SUB-D connector to connect with prefabricated I/O cables, while captive screw terminals are used for field wiring, which guarantees stable connection and prevents loose terminals caused by mechanical vibration. This wiring block integrates individual fuse protection for each circuit, which can isolate short-circuit and overload faults on field lines and protect expensive PLC I/O modules from damage. It provides 32 wiring contact points, compatible with most Modicon Quantum I/O modules except the 140ATI03000 thermocouple module. The whole unit can be quickly mounted on standard 35mm DIN rail. During maintenance work, technicians can disconnect the SUB-D cable without removing all field wires, which greatly shortens troubleshooting time and reduces system downtime.
