The Schneider 140ARI03000 analog rtd input module is a dedicated PLC module designed for Modicon Quantum industrial automation control systems. This modicon quantum module is specially built to receive signals from RTD resistance temperature detectors, converting resistance changes caused by temperature variation into digital data that can be read and processed by the PLC CPU. As a professional temperature acquisition unit, this analog rtd input module supports multiple types of RTD sensors such as Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and Ni1000. It can accurately measure temperature values in industrial sites and transmit real-time temperature data to the control system, which is widely used in power, petrochemical, metallurgy, food and pharmaceutical industries for temperature monitoring and over-temperature protection. The module supports 2-wire,3-wire and 4-wire sensor wiring modes. The 4-wire connection can effectively eliminate the resistance error of connecting cables and improve temperature measurement accuracy. Built-in diagnostic functions can detect wire break and short circuit faults of RTD sensors. Once abnormal wiring occurs, the module will feed back fault information to the PLC controller, helping maintenance staff quickly find problems and avoid production risks. It can be directly plugged into the Quantum backplane rack and configured through Unity Pro programming software.
