The Schneider 140ACO13000C analog output module is a high-performance PLC module developed for the Modicon Quantum industrial automation control platform. Its primary purpose is to convert digital control signals sent by the PLC CPU through the backplane rack into stable continuous analog current signals, which can drive various field actuators including control valves, electric regulators and frequency converters. This module enables accurate closed-loop adjustment of industrial process variables such as temperature, pressure, liquid level and flow rate. It is widely used in heavy industrial fields such as power plants, petrochemical plants, metallurgical workshops, water treatment stations and pharmaceutical manufacturing lines to maintain stable production operation.

This analog output module is equipped with 8 fully independent output channels, supporting standard 4-20mA current signal output. The allowable external loop voltage ranges from 6V DC to 30V DC. It provides 1780V AC isolation between internal channels and the PLC backplane bus, which can effectively isolate electrical noise and prevent interference from affecting the whole control system. The signal update cycle reaches 5ms, delivering fast response for real-time process control. At 25℃ ambient temperature, the signal absolute accuracy is ±0.2% of full scale, ensuring reliable signal output. This PLC module integrates open-circuit fault detection function. Once the field wire breaks or the actuator is disconnected, it will immediately capture the fault state and transmit alarm messages to the host PLC system for quick troubleshooting.

The module adopts standard rack mounting structure, supporting hot plug replacement to reduce system downtime during maintenance. The maximum power dissipation is 5W, and the bus current consumption is 550mA. It has CE certification and compact hardware design.
