Product Details
The NI PCI-6133 is an S-series simultaneous sampling multifunction DAQ card designed for PCI bus high-speed test and measurement systems. It integrates 8 analog input channels with independent ADC for each channel, supporting true simultaneous sampling at up to 2.5 MS/s per channel and 14-bit resolution. This model has no analog output channels, focusing on multi-channel high-speed synchronous analog input acquisition. It is equipped with 8 bidirectional TTL digital I/O lines and two independent 24-bit counter-timer channels. Each channel adopts dedicated ADC architecture to eliminate phase skew between different signals, which is essential for phase-locked multi-channel signal capture. It provides multiple configurable voltage input ranges to adapt to intermediate frequency signals, sensor outputs and other signal sources. The onboard deep FIFO buffer can cache large amounts of sampled data, effectively avoiding data loss during long-time continuous high-speed acquisition.
This DAQ card is a full-length PCI board and requires a compatible chassis slot for installation. It uses a 68-pin SCSI connector for all signal wiring, compatible with matched shielded cables and signal conditioning accessories for low-level signal and isolated signal measurement. It supports analog and digital triggering modes and flexible clock configuration. Users can synchronize this card with other NI DAQ and test instruments through the RTSI bus to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The dual 24-bit counter channels can perform pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and incremental encoder signal monitoring. Digital I/O lines can read external status signals and drive low-power TTL circuits for trigger routing and interlock control. It supports DMA data transmission to reduce CPU occupancy during continuous high-speed sampling, and built-in self-calibration function compensates gain and offset drift to maintain stable measurement accuracy for long-running dynamic tests.
This multifunction daq card is widely used in telecom IF signal digitization, ADSL, ISDN and POTS manufacturing testing, transient waveform recording, ultrasonic and sonar testing, high-energy physics experiment measurement, multi-point dynamic signal monitoring, manufacturing test stations and OEM synchronous measurement equipment integration. It supports NI-DAQmx drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can quickly develop 8-channel synchronous high-speed acquisition programs. As a discontinued legacy S-series DAQ hardware, the PCI-6133 is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing simultaneous sampling measurement platforms. It can maintain reliable synchronous sampling performance, retain mature test workflows and avoid the high cost of rebuilding the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting stable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
