Product Details

The NI PCI-6115 is a high-performance S-series simultaneous sampling multifunction DAQ card built for PCI bus test and measurement systems. It features 4 pseudodifferential analog input channels with independent ADC for each channel, supporting true simultaneous sampling up to 10 MS/s per channel and 12-bit ADC resolution. It integrates 2 analog output channels with 4 MS/s maximum update rate, 8 bidirectional TTL digital I/O lines and two independent 24-bit counter-timer channels. The analog input supports a differential voltage range of ±42 V, which is well suited for 42V automotive electrical system testing. The pseudodifferential input architecture delivers excellent noise rejection and stable signal integrity for fast transient waveform capture. Each channel owns dedicated ADC to eliminate phase offset between different signals, which is critical for radar, sonar and ultrasonic measurement. The onboard large FIFO buffer stabilizes continuous data streaming and reduces data dropout risk during long-duration high-speed acquisition.

This DAQ card is a full-length PCI board and requires a compatible chassis slot for installation. It uses a SCSI signal connector for all I/O wiring and can work with matched shielded cables and signal conditioning accessories for isolated and high-voltage signal measurement. It supports flexible digital triggering and clock configuration, and can synchronize with other NI DAQ and test instruments through the RTSI bus to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The dual 24-bit counter channels can perform pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and incremental encoder signal monitoring. The analog output channels can generate high-speed analog stimulus signals, cooperating with synchronous analog input channels to complete closed-loop stimulus-response testing. Digital I/O lines can read external status signals and drive low-power TTL circuits for interlock control and trigger routing. It supports DMA data transmission to reduce CPU load during continuous high-speed streaming, and built-in self-calibration function compensates gain and offset drift to maintain stable measurement accuracy for dynamic tests.

This multifunction daq card is widely used in automotive 42V component validation, radar and sonar signal acquisition, ultrasonic testing, transient waveform recording, aerospace dynamic signal testing, high-speed manufacturing test stations and OEM synchronous measurement equipment integration. It supports NI-DAQmx and traditional NI-DAQ drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can quickly develop 4-channel synchronous acquisition and stimulus control programs. As a discontinued legacy S-series DAQ hardware, the PCI-6115 is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing high-speed simultaneous sampling measurement platforms. It can maintain reliable synchronous sampling performance, retain mature test workflows and avoid the high cost of rebuilding the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting stable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
